At Astrarium Games, we focus on helping everyone get their next opportunity in the video games industry.

Then we are here to help provide you with the help, the infrastructure and the mentoring and advice to help you!
As an experimental studio, we try to do things differently:
As long as you are friendly, welcoming and hard-working, then there’s always a place volunteering with us!
We don’t have deadlines, we don’t have KPIs. You work at your own speed, and you check in when you want.
We offer paid freelance contracts through our website and our Discord, and we only offer contracts to our volunteers!
GET YOUR START, VOLUNTEERING AT YOUR OWN PACE
If you are a developer struggling to find your start, then look in our WORK WITH US dropdown!
Assign you to one of our volunteer projects. We always have space for a new developer - work one or two evenings per week at your own pace, no deadlines on your tasks.
We will help you set up your socials, build your resume and Astrarium Games becomes the first entry on your professional experience.
Once the project launches, we institute a profit-sharing scheme to split the proceeds with all volunteers involved.
If you’re looking to get involved in more administrative areas, and gain experience for your resume as well:
As a Producer, you can help manage a team of volunteer developers, keep them organised and help drive production of the games.
As a Community Manager, you can help introducer new volunteers to the studio, manage our Discord and help place volunteers into new projects.
In Social Media Marketing, you can help to build posts about our games, gain followers and network with us to make the studio more popular!
BUILDING YOUR OWN GAME WITH US
If you are looking to follow your dream and create your own game, then we definitely want to help you!
Get in touch with us, and we will:
Work alongside you to build a team of volunteer developers who are excited to be part of something new
Help you get your documentation set up, workshop your idea and refine it with a workflow, a business plan and a development pipeline.
Provide technical support, file-sharing software and development collaboration so you have all the tools you need.
Set up a target platform(s), a marketing plan and a launch strategy.
We will then launch the game under the ‘Astrarium Publishing’ banner.
What we ask for in return is a 10-15% share of the gross profits, and that at least 40% of the gross profits are shared between the volunteers who worked on the game.
In some special cases, we will be available to build and run a development team to work on your idea on a freelance basis, or provide marketing support for a project.
